~emb is an experimental music duo from Sardinia (IT).

With their first release 607f/s, they’re outlining a crossing path between several approaches to electronic music. The release consist of two sides where every single track has been recorded live without any additional editing.

Side A (fst) is characterised by simple melodic progressions and dynamic structures which oscillate between textures and beats. Inspired by idm sonorities, it encourages a physical experience which is tense and unpredictable.

Side B (slw) is characterised by dilated and arrhythmic zones which are broken by complex sound events. The decay of this events generates new silences and textures in slow evolution.

The whole album is meant to be an immersive soundscape where the listening is extended to a physical experience.
