Plastiq Phantom is one of many musical projects of musician and producer Darrin Wiener and one of his first ones in his adventurous career with first qp release in 1999. After establishing an independent label Imputor? that released dozens of records, cooperating with people like Jeremiah Green, Modest Mouse, Otto Von Schirach or Scientific American, or developing his modular synth doctor identity and Golwiener live act for his acid house workouts, the Plastic Phantom returns!

The „Concerts...“ is a conceptual album that draws it's inspiration from chamber music compositions and uses solely virtual synths to create a unique blend of electronica combining ambient, classical music and IDM where the process of writing the music in the computer software environment, influences the result as much as the characteristics of chosen instruments and their use within somewhat classical approach. The end product is fresh and high-spirited set of 8 faux-classical exercises, each one of them bearing it's authentic elementary wit and atmosphere.
