uchOff is one the projects of David Baránek who despite his hearing impairment can communicate with music very well. Using sophisticated looping methods he creates repetitive compositions with complex layered structures slowly evolving into picturesque adventurous stories colored by swirling tunes played on kalimbas he builds by himself.
All of this wouldn’t be possible without the cooperation with bass and guitar player Martin Jaroš. Together they made three long musical tales of which two made it on the tape. Listen carefully to hear the message they tell.
