A while ago we sent word to our friends and family circles that we would like to have something tangible to express our relationship.
And now, a tiny part of the music we received from them is coming out in our second compilation called…
…well, in the family, we are one. It is not about nation, race or gender, only what matters is family.
That’s the key to this release.
The artists who contributed are of different age, from different backgrounds and circles. Among them you can find the engineer and founder of Bastl Instruments Paseka and the Bastl production assistant Tom Djambo, and our beloved friends Myako (the Paris based producer and queen of DJs) and hiT͟Hərˈto͞o (she used to be local, before she went to the big world to fight for woman rights with her music; she still feels very close). Or the Prague-based songwriter Vly, whose records are made from a bedroom using a tablet only, but something really sad and beautiful emerges from his deep sense for songs and life (and his debut release is coming really soon).
As a special guest and symbol of “no border” attitude, Cuckoo is closing release with joyful song.
